Hi, I'm Chase.

I'm a trainer in Chicago and I work with a wide variety of clients—athletes, founders, executives, singers, and people from many other walks of life.

My journey as a trainer started in 2015 when I walked away from a lucrative opportunity at a fast-growing tech company.

Ā

The CliffNotes version is that I wasn't happy with the direction of my career and needed a change—I was miserable. The company I worked for was great, but the work was unfulfilling, at least for me.

So, after some reflection, it became clear that my next chapter would involveĀ teaching people how to improve their health and fitness.

I was a competitive athlete through high school, I taught in college, and fitness hadĀ been an obsessive hobby of mine for well over a decade. Becoming a trainer made sense.

After a few months of working at an upscale fitness club to learn the ropes, I used my knowledge and experience to start my own personal training business called Incremental Gains.

My goal was simple—help people transform their fitness in a way that actually sticks. That meant focusing less on shortcuts and more on building habits, mastering technique, and making steady, sustainable progress.

I didn't take the transition from working at a fitness club to running my own business lightly—I took a big swing.

Ā

I studied under some of the very best in the industry—leaders in strength, conditioning, mobility, and nutrition. I learned from the experts who work with celebrities, pro athletes, and special operators regularly. I discovered some of the most effective exercise and nutrition systems, and I've been applying these methods ever since.

It's safe to say that the teachers and mentors I had early on as a trainer greatly impacted my development. I'm grateful for their leadership and guidance. They helped fast-track my career, and I've been able to pay it forward by positively impacting my clients' lives.

I've had the privilege of working with professional athletes, founders, executives, singers, and people from many other walks of life.

But the learning never stops. I'm always trying to improve.

My ideal client is anyone with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard. And helping clients achieve their goals is always great, but there's no better feeling than seeing their lives outside of the gym improve. That's what keeps me going.

When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, stuffing my face with good food, and spending time with those I love most, especially my wife, son, and two golden retrievers.
